Serve on Building and Grounds
The Buildings and Grounds Committee is in charge of the maintenance of the buildings and grounds.The main committee is broken down into several sub-committees which take responsibility of different aspects of the campus. Some of the committees are involved with electrical and mechanical maintenance and upgrades. Therefore, people with varied interest can extend their talents for the benefit of the church
Time Commitment: The B and G committee meets the second Tuesday of every month, 7pm. Meetings typically last one hour. Average monthly time commitment is 3-5 hours. Committee members commit to a one year term and can renew as they desire.

Landscaping
As part of the larger Building and Grounds committee, we are responsible for installing and maintaining the master landscape plan for the church. We monitor/oversee the landscape service company that provides weekly service and hold work/clean-up days at church. Saint Mark is planning the design and construction of a Memorial Garden where members may inter their cremated remains or those of a loved one. People are needed for a limited commitment to help implement the program, administration, and construction of the garden.
Time Commitment: four hours per month for landscaping. As needed for Memorial Garden.

Technology Committee
The Technology Committee guides and supports Saint Mark in its Ministry through the use of technology. We provide the staff and committees with the computer resources necessary to fulfill their work & ministries: computers, network, & peripherals; telephone systems; security systems; and audio/visual capabilities.
Time Commitment: The Technology Committee meets the first Tuesday of every other month either in-person or through telephone-conference.

Building maintenance
Help to maintain the health and safety of our church home. Opportunities to contribute vary based on the ever changing needs of our one hundred year old physical campus. One day we may be changing light bulbs and another we may be planning a major renovation!
Time Commitment: Varies based upon current projects and one monthly meeting.

Handyman/Handywoman
People needed to do a variety of jobs around the church property. So can you fix things? Do you just love trips to the hardware store? Help us keep things running around the church!
Time Commitment: Varies based upon current needs.

Recycling
Help our church home establish another important aspect of stewardship! We’d like to create and maintain a recycling program for the church. We need people to help organize and define the program as well as maintain it!
Time Commitment: TBD by the newly forming committee. Several initial meetings to establish the ongoing program.

Serve on Kitchen Team
We plan meals, cook food, set the tables, organize the kitchen for Wednesday night dinners and special dining events.
Time Commitment: Wednesday nights from Labor Day until Memorial Day from 4:30—6:30 PM.
