COMMUNICATIONS & MULTIMEDIA
Using images, words, video, and sound to spread good news to our Saint Mark family and beyond.
If 2020 taught us anything as a church community, it’s the importance of communication. We strive to use our gifts to love, accept, and serve far past the boundaries of Peachtree Street. Our Communications & Multimedia Ministry handles filming, live-streaming, graphic design, copywriting, and creating/managing social media content.
We rely on our skilled volunteers to assist with live filming and broadcasting of our weekly Sunday worship service. Currently, volunteers can be trained in operating camera equipment, broadcast directing, or running our sound board.
In addition to weekly filmed services, Saint Mark often has special projects that require a great deal of effort, including announcements, advertisements, promotions, and health updates.
In addition to creating video content, the Communications Ministry has forayed into podcasting. Sermons, weekly pastor updates, and interview series are just a few of the types of content Saint Mark has in the works. Episodes can be found on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Play, and anywhere you get your podcasts.

Nowadays, connecting with our church community doesn’t just happen in the physical church. We strive to keep an active, modern, and engaging social media presence, especially through Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. We are always looking for volunteers - especially young people with an understanding of social media - to lend their gifts to the church and help us make better content for a broader audience.
